Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use Lock & Cash, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you control it.

Effective August 19, 2026 Last updated August 19, 2026 Applies to lcsports.app

The short version: the only thing you give us is your mobile number and your consent. We use it to send you the analytics texts you signed up for, and to keep a record that you agreed to receive them.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Reply STOP to any message to end the program, or email us to have your number deleted.

01Scope

This policy covers Lock & Cash Sports Analytics ("Lock & Cash," "we," "us") and the website at lcsports.app together with the text message program we operate. It explains how we handle information about you when you visit the site or enroll in our texts.

It does not cover the practices of your mobile carrier or any other service you use to reach us. Those are governed by their own policies.

02What we collect

We deliberately collect very little. There are no accounts, no passwords and no payments on this site.

CategoryWhat that means
Mobile numberThe 10-digit U.S. number you submit on the sign-up form, stored in E.164 format.
Consent recordThat you checked the consent box, that you confirmed you are 18 or older, and the date and time you did so. We keep this to prove your opt-in was valid.
Subscription statusWhether your number is active, paused or unsubscribed, and when that last changed.
Message eventsDelivery, failure and opt-out events reported by our messaging vendor, plus your replies to program keywords such as STOP and HELP.
Technical dataStandard server and security logs generated when you load the site: IP address, browser and operating system, referring URL, and timestamps.
CorrespondenceAnything you send us by email, and our replies.

We do not collect your name, email address, date of birth, payment details or location, and we do not ask you to connect any outside account. We do not buy personal information from data brokers.

03How we use it

  • Send what you signed up for. Deliver the analytics text messages, including projections, usage changes and program notices.
  • Honour your choices. Process STOP, HELP and other keyword replies, and keep unsubscribed numbers on a suppression list so we do not text them again by mistake.
  • Prove consent. Retain the consent record required by telecommunications rules and carrier program requirements.
  • Keep the service running. Prevent abuse, block automated sign-ups, diagnose errors and secure our systems.
  • Answer you. Respond to support requests and privacy requests you send us.

We do not use your number for profiling, and we do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

04Text messages

When you enroll, we store your mobile number, your consent timestamp, your subscription status and the delivery events for messages we send you. We share your number only with the messaging vendors that transmit our messages on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to processing it for us.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not share them with affiliates for marketing purposes. Reply STOP to end messages; see the Messaging Terms for the full program rules, frequency and cost.

05Who we share with

  • Messaging vendor. Twilio Inc. transmits our text messages and processes carrier delivery and opt-out events.
  • Hosting and database. Vercel Inc. serves the website and runs our sign-up endpoint; Supabase stores the subscriber record.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public from harm.
  • Business transfers. If we are acquired or merge, data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information and have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

06Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party advertising or social media trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs for security and performance, and we load web fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the request as part of serving those files.

We honour Global Privacy Control signals where legally required.

07Retention

We keep your number and consent record for as long as you are subscribed. If you opt out, we move your number to a suppression list and keep the minimum record needed to honour that opt-out and to evidence the original consent — normally up to four years, which is the window in which consent-related claims can be brought.

Server and security logs are kept for a short rolling period and then discarded. If you ask us to delete your data outright, we will, subject to any record we are legally required to keep.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither); and to appeal a decision we make about your request.

  • Stop the messages. Reply STOP to any text. This takes effect immediately.
  • Access, correction or deletion. Email us from any address with the mobile number concerned and tell us what you want done.
  • Appeal. If we decline a request, reply to our response and a different person will review it.

Because we hold no name or email address, we verify requests against the mobile number itself — we may text that number to confirm the request came from its holder. We respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and you may use an authorised agent where the law allows.

09Security

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest by our database provider. The subscriber table is protected by row-level security and is reachable only by our server-side sign-up endpoint using a secret key that is never exposed to your browser. Access to production credentials is limited to the people who need it.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as required by law.

10Children

The program is intended for people 18 and older, and we ask you to confirm your age before enrolling. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it. Contact us if you believe a minor has given us information.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date at the top changes when we do. For material changes affecting how we use your mobile number, we will notify subscribers by text before the change takes effect.
